As-salamu Alaykum and Hello, thanks for stopping by and welcome to my blog I am an Algerian (North Africa) Lady married to a wonderful Pakistani man who is so incredibly supportive and mama to two beautiful girls.
I love blogging, travelling, exploring new cultures and that’s one of the interracial marriage advantages I got. You’ll have the opportunity to see the world differently and you’ll be exposed to an entirely new way of life, including a new country, new people, traditions, food or even new languages…

After marriage, I moved to the UK, as I had more spare time I started learning about Other Cuisines, baking and decorating cakes, stitching, crocheting, knitting… In a short period of time, I learnt many different things online which is really helpful learning new things anytime you want at the comfort of your own, this gave me an idea why not create my own blog, my plan was to post only Algerian food because:

Algerian (North African) cuisine is so much diverse and it has various influences from Berbers, Moorish, Arabs, Turkish, Romans, the French and the Spanish which brings eclectic mix of flavours and textures, served in a multitude of ways and very pleasing to the palate.

but I’ve decided to develop recipes inspired by other cuisines and anything which I learn I will post it on my blog so that I can share with my family, friends and rest of the world… Plus all the recipes are tested thoroughly and loved by my husband, my family, friends and me so you can trust 😉.

I believe that a simple way to be happy is just to keep busy…I hope my blog will inspire you and you will enjoy it, if you have any ideas please suggest.

You can find me on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and as well, so don’t forget to come and say HI

  1. Loved your recipe for Baba Ganoush. I love nediterranean cuisine. Do you have recipe for the white sauce they use over gyro /chicken with pita bread or rice. I had this stuff at stalls on sidewalks. I gave no idea what the white sauce is called but i love it. Thanks

    1. Aww thanks Leena Dsouza that’s so kind of you 🙂 , yes! the sauce is called Tzatziki Sauce, grate the cucumber and squeeze water out of it combine with Greek yoghurt, White vinegar or lemon juice, pressed garlic clove, chopped dill or mint depending on your preference in flavours, salt to taste. I’ll try to publish Tzatziki Sauce recipe soon.
      Hope this helps! 😉
